Wow, my second “book release” surprise in less than a week, and another COVER REVEAL! Pinch me… is this a dream?

Every time my words are handed over to an illustrator, I anticipate the “magic” that an illustrator will bring to the project. With I’M A BABY! I was unfamiliar with Volha Kaliaha‘s work, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When my fabulous Familius editor showed me the first rough sketches of the book, I was DELIGHTED to see that Volha added a cat to the storyline. Okay, first, I’ve LOVED cats since I was a little girl (have I ever revealed we once had 13 cats when I was 6 years old?), and second, it adds a visual storyline to the story that I hadn’t thought of while writing it. The cat brings humor to the story, from holding its nose during the diaper change, to hiding in the toy basket while Baby plays peek-a-boo. Baby’s high energy is almost too much for the poor cat, as the cover illustrates. I hope everyone will. enjoy this book, out May 6, 2025.
