Terry – Thanks for the “shout out” for my SCBWI Bulletin column about school visits – and thanks for this link to Sara’s great post. She echoes what I’ve heard from countless marketing folks in publishing. They all tell me that they know the authors who are doing school visits just by the spikes in their book sales.
